Text on The Leaf
Posted on: Thursday, 12 January, 2012This is a Photoshop tutorial on how to make text effect using Photoshop on a green leaf. Creating text effect is fairly easy (easier than the cloud effect, smoke effects, or fire Effect in the previous post).
Before creating text effect, you must prepare a green leaf image (a digital photograph). In this tutorial, the leaf image is taken from Free Photos For Your Blog, you can download the picture there.
Here are the steps how to create text effect on a green leaf using Photoshop.
Open Photoshop program then open the image (green leaf). You may resize the picture as you want. Select Horizontal Type Tool (T) then type any text you want with any size and color, for example “MyFrameCity do com” with black color.
You may adjust the position of the text, rotate, or change the form of the text through “Create Warped Text” button.
Hold Ctrl button on your keyboard then click Text Layer (MyFrameCity dot com’s Layer) on the Layers Window, click-back Background Layer, right click then select Layer Via Copy. New Layer (Layer 1) will appear. You may delete or hide the first Layer (Text Layer).
You will see nothing (just a backhground image).

Double click new layer (Layer 1) to open Layer Style. On this window, adjust Drop Shadow (Blend Mode: Multiply – Color: Black – Opacity: 35 – Angle: 30 – Distance: 0 – Spread: 0 – Size: 5). Adjust Beavel and Emboss (Style: Emboss – Tecknique: Smooth – Depth: 42 – Direction: Up – Size :1 – Soften: 1). Then press OK Button.
Now try yourself to make text effect Photoshop on your own image with your own style. Good luck!
