In this tutorial you will learn how to use our Photoshop borders. There are two things you should know about Photoshop borders you find here: first, our Photoshop borders are neither Photoshop plugins, nor actions, nor patterns. They are simply ready-made Photoshop (PSD) files to help you touching up your digital photo. Second, you have to download our Photoshop border to your own computer before using it. Mostly our Photoshop borders come with 1024 pixel x 768 pixel size. A few of them even have smaller size.

You can start browsing for Photoshop borders that might interests you through category widget on the sidebar, and then click the download link right below each of thumbnails to download it.

Open the extracted file and the photo that’ll be framed with Adobe Photoshop (I’m using Adobe Photoshop 7 in this tutorial). Click Move Tool and then drag the photo file to Photoshop border file like shown on the following picture.

Replace the “Myframecity.com” text with your own. Click the Horizontal Type Tool on Photoshop toolbox and then clik the “Myframecity.com” text. Press Delete key on your keyboard to replace it with your own text.

If you plan to to use your Photoshop-framed photo for your blog or website, you can save it with Save for Web option (File -> Save for Web) so the file size can be significantly reduced. But if you want to set this Photoshop-framed photo for your PC wallpaper, you can save it with Save As option with optimal resolution using jpg/jpeg format.
